South County Crisis Center offers support services to victims of domestic violence in the Cities of Manteca, Tracy, Escalon, Ripon and the community of French Camp and other local rural communities.

When a victim is safe and stabilized, South County Crisis Center offers a number of programs designed to help one improve their position.

All programs are given at the Center, 609 W. Center St. in Manteca, unless otherwise noted.

"The Parent Project ", our Parenting Class:
Open to all parents who want to learn about more alternatives when dealing with their children. This class, facilitated by a certified instructor from The Parent Project, offers new views in dealing with behavior issues. Call for class schedules.
 
Adult Anger Management:
Open to all adults who want to learn to make better choices when dealing with their issues. Call for class schedules. Prior registration is requested but not necessary. The facilitator is a licensed family therapist from Anderson Services with many years of experience.
 
Teen Anger Management:
Open to teens that need to complete an anger management course in order to be allowed back in school or as a condition of probation. This is a ten week session facilitated by a licensed family therapist from Anderson Services. Pre-registration is required. At the end of ten weeks a graduation ceremony is conducted and the student will receive a certificate of completion. Young women and young men attend separate sessions as needed. "Why Try?" our High School Peer Pressure Class
Open to high school students who are faced with the everyday challenges of peer pressure. This class uses the “Why Try?” curriculum delivered by a certified instructor, and offers students ways to manage peer pressure, making healthy choices as well as organizational skills. Pre-registration is required as space will be limited. Call for class schedules.
 
Gang Awareness and Substance Abuse Class
This program is run by certified facilitators from "PointBreak". Call for class schedules.
 
Healing From Domestic Violence
Open to women who need help healing from domestic violence. We will be using a workbook that works through emotional issues and better communication skills. If you need to talk or want to support other women that have become survivors please join us. Call for class schedules.
